Deciding a career in the culinary field is like choosing a path to cycle in the great Pyrenees. It takes a great effort to feed people with integrity. It takes dedication to give up personal pleasures. A select few know their purpose and are fulfilling the duties. Others might be frustrated, overwhelmed or confused because they are not following their intuitions.
It is a struggle to become free of self repression. After all, the tall mountains is there because it’s purpose is to be high and above. Your purpose is to run through it. You can achieve it by the way you are told. Or you can learn from the struggle your body endures from the chips of those rocks that grazed you along the way. And once you surpass it through the finish line, that is when the purpose of life begins. This is when you learn what separated you at the beginning and what you have accomplished today as you studied the humility, sacrifice, trials, triumph, tears, sweat and blood.
