Brick City
Wow, I can’t believe I haven’t posted our trip to Brooklyn, NY. After we came back from Europe not a week later, Cheffy and I hopped on another flight but to New York. I’ve never been before so i was super excited. It was a short trip for another chocolate course training in the books, this time at Valrhona with Chef Philipe Givre.
Given the fact that we’ve been so busy since we’ve came back from our vacation, outside of it aLL; the craziness and the daily hectic scheduLes we live. It’s just been nonstop, on the go for us. Feels like summer is passing by. Normally, I would take the ferry back to Seattle but with the high tourist, I have been driving around through Tacoma to come back to my Seattle home. Today however, I was lucky to catch the ferry at a decent time. I actually had a moment to breathe and gaze at the amazing-ness of our city. Life is beautiful. It reminds me that there is so much more to life and all you have to do is slow down and become aware of your surrounding. We are electrically charged beings. Our eyes allow us to see only so much. There is a whole different platform of the unseen and unheard around us. If you slow down a bit you can learn to to tune all your senses and become aware of more than you’re absorbed in. Life can be rich with abundance of spirituaL wealth. All you have to do is focus on the positive of all the chaos.
